Youth Cafe logo # 3 - Resized copy

We are a  youth group for local teenagers, aged between 11-16, where you are able to meet and socialise, and make new friends in a safe environment.

We meet on the third Friday of each month at Highnam Old School and we would like to welcome you to come along to the cafe and see what we have to offer.

Opening times: - Anytime between 7 and 9pm

Equiqment: We have a range of activities, which include table tennis, foot-ball and pool tables, badminton, volley ball and more.

Refreshments and food: There is a tuck shop open from 7 to 7.45pm with drinks and snacks available. As part of our theme evenings we often serve hot food. In the past this has included spaghetti bolognaise, jacket potatoes, home made soup, fruit cocktails and smoothies, pancakes, and much more. New ideas are always welcome.

Events: We look forward to the warmer months when we can carry out our summer evening activities including barbecues and summer games.

Look out for our adverts in the Village Link magazine and around the village. And you can always contact the Youth Cafe by sending an email using the 'Contact' facility on this website.

Please tell your friends and come long!!

Helpers Always Needed

The Youth Cafe runs with a small number of helpers and we always need more people to help support our project,

If you can spare a couple of hours a month or even 10 minutes to help set up and pack away the equipment this will be appreciated.

If you can offer any help, donate any equipment or offer ideas for future events this will also be very much appreciated.

In the future we hope to find a youth worker to help take our project forward. We also want to encourage teenagers to become involved in making this group a success.
